SEGA has just downloaded a 3 1/2 minute trailer to give Miku fans their first detailed introduction to the upcoming Project mirai - Hatsune Miku and Future Stars which is to be released in Japan on March 8, 2012.
The new video (below) provides a high-resolution look at the new nendoroid versions of Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, Meiko and Kaito. The new video also provides lots of information about the game play and the costumes worn by the characters. Fans also get a preview of some of the game’s loading screens.
The new game will be playable on the hand-held Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSi and DSi LL.
There’s also expected to be a special guest appearance by the vocaloid Gumi (Megpoid).
The game will also use some of the augmented reality technology first introduced when Hatsune Miku appeared in the Toyota Shopping Tool. The AR technology uses the unit’s built-in camera to provide a 3D version of Miku to perform live and in person right in front of you.
